Overdraft Protection

If a transaction comes through and there are not sufficient funds in your checking account to cover it, our system will automatically pull the needed funds from your available balance in your share account, as long as there’s enough to cover the transaction. You can use this service up to three (3) times per month without any charge. After that, a $5.00 fee will apply to each additional transaction, starting with the fourth (4th) overdraft, and will continue until the end of the month if overdrafts continue. This limit resets at the beginning of each month.

Courtesy Pay

This service functions similarly to overdraft protection, but it applies when there are NOT enough funds in your share account to cover a transaction. In this case, Frick Financial will cover the transaction (including the fee) up to a certain amount (currently $300, but subject to judgment at our discretion depending on your account activity). Each time this service is used, a $30.00 fee will apply. You will be required to opt in or out of courtesy pay when you come in person to finalize your account.

Your current APS checks will remain valid and can be used after the merger is complete. Once you have used your existing APS checks, you will need to order Frick Financial FCU checks. As a courtesy, your first order of Frick Financial checks (30 checks in total) will be provided to you free of charge.

Important Dates

• December – Debit cards and credit cards will be mailed to you in the beginning of December. Please watch for it in your mail, and activate the card as soon as possible so we can confirm you have received it.
• December 20th – If you do not received your FFFCU debit card by December 20, please contact Michael King at 724-483-6260 or reach out to a Frick Financial representative at 724-438-5123.
• December 26th – If you do not receive your FFFCU credit card by December 26, please contact Michael King at 724-483-6260 or reach out to a Frick Financial representative at 724-438-5123.
• December 29th – You may continue to use your APS credit card until December 29th or until you’ve activated your FFFCU credit card.
• December 30th – The last day to make transactions at APS.
• January 2nd – Your new debit card will be ready for use. Please continue using your APS debit card until January 2, and don’t discard it until you’ve successfully used your Frick Financial debit card for the first time.

Important Changes To Your VISA® Credit Card Account Terms

Your account terms are changing due to a credit union merger. The change in terms refers to fees.

• Your payment due date is monthly on the 15th. Your statement is produced for mailing on the 20th.
• Foreign Transaction Fees are 1.00% of each multiple currency transaction in U.S. dollars and 0.80% of each single currency transaction in U.S. dollars.
• Penalty Fees: Late Fee is up to $25 or the amount of the required minimum payment, whichever is less, if you are one or more days late in making a payment. Returned Payment Fee is $25 or the amount of the required minimum payment, whichever is less.
• Rush Fee is $30.
• Your current APR% with APS will remain the same for your Frick Financial card. Your rate may be increased in the future should the conditions to the credit card line of credit change (i.e. increase limit, add joint user, etc.) and will be based upon creditworthiness.
• Payments on your FFFCU credit card can be made at any FFFCU branch, online by enrolling in www.ezcardinfo.com, or mailing to our lockbox: Frick Financial FCU-Visa, PO BOX 4521, CAROL STREAM, IL 60197-4521.
• Our fraud team will contact you via telephone when a transaction meets specific fraud parameters, prompting you to confirm or decline the charges. You may be asked to confirm your phone number, last four digits of the card number, and whether or not you authorized the transaction. You will not be prompted to enter your social security number.
